Our Electronics Manufacturing Services business operates two facilities near Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and one facility in Narasapura, Karnataka. All locations are conveniently close to Bengaluru.
The Electronics Manufacturing Services division is segregated into two distinct parts for the customer - Components for consumer electronics devices; and Products, which deals with Final Assembly, Testing and Packaging (FATP).
Tata Electronics is one of the key manufacturers of precision engineered, high-value components.
Our electronics components manufacturing facility near Hosur, Tamil Nadu is the largest, fully functional installed base in India.
This state-of-the-art facility, spread over 570 acres, manufactures precision parts at volume and is on an aggressive capacity expansion path.
The facility is certified as a green factory by Indian Green Building Council.

Through our products business, we aim to establish a strong presence by manufacturing premium personal electronic devices that are sold in India and the global market.
By strategically acquiring Wistron’s India operations in Narasapura, Karnataka, we have founded Tata Electronics Systems Solutions (TESS), our fully owned subsidiary.
Additionally, we are setting up a greenfield FATP facility near Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
This positions Tata Electronics as the first Indian manufacturer of high-end, premium smartphones, with an intent to expand to other product categories. We are rapidly scaling up our operations to achieve high-volume manufacturing. Our facility at Narasapura is ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified.
